Gold medal
Yukimidaifuku no oishisani saikin kizduita (14 years old) from Chiba Pref.
Comment:
I want to cross the Pacific with this.
It portrays the way the construction equipment sails strongly through the raging waves. It’s an artwork full of ideas, with an exquisite description of the rough condition and a very interesting setting.
Silver medal
Boku ha dokukurageno oujyoyo (14 years old) from Chiba Pref.
Comment:
Jellyfishes are strong! I created this with jellyfish as its motif! It’s a piece that makes one feel the “light” under the ocean.
It’s a brilliant piece with a superb composition, expression, and idea to use jellyfish as its motif. The effective use of the original drawing shows great artistic sense.
Bronze medal
Ito Mutsumi (34 years old) from Gifu Pref.
Comment:
No more imbalanced diet! My hope these days is to lose weight by consciously taking in the five major nutrients and having a balanced diet.
This is a piece we want to put up somewhere in the kitchen! The concept is interesting, the composition is well-constructed, and the illustration is brilliant. A healthy diet is important.
Bronze medal
Tawashi (14 years old) from Chiba Pref.
Comment:
It would be fun if there were a construction equipment like this. I loaded it with things I like.
It looks like a page from a picture book, and makes us wonder about the story. What’s in the bottle placed inside the bucket? What’s that fish coming out of flower petals? It’s fascinating.
Bronze medal
Satoshi no chichi (37 years old) from Ishikawa Pref.
Comment:
Insects are cool!
A bulldozer came to the world of insects. Its blade and exhaust pipe start to resemble beetle horns. It looks strong!
Bronze medal
Ichan (17 years old) from Wakayama Pref.
Comment:
I colored the bulldozer with one ball-point pen. I tried to be creative by drawing lines over lines to portray shadows, and not drawing too many lines in other places.
It looks like a wooden bulldozer that makes clattering sounds when it runs. What’s in the cab? A control lever? Or an operator?
