DIGGING DEEP LAB

The mechanism of a hydraulic excavator

Different kinds of feet.

Crawlers can be seen at many construction sites. It literally crawls on the ground.

Since more part touches the ground, they do not sink even on the soft surface. (Just like skies don't sink into the snow.) Belt-like shaped feet can turn and hold the ground, which enables the machines to go up steep slopes.

They can not run on the road like regular cars, so they have to be carried on the big truck when they need to be moved to other locations. This type of feet is very stable.
