The IT revolution had a tremendous influence on the technology of construction equipment as well. The satellite operation management system was developed during the 90's as a method to supervise and manage equipment from a remote distance, and became an industry standard during this era.

Fitted with the new engine, able to take full advantage of the newest engine technology "ecot3", this model produces significantly less NOx. It complies with the third regulation of emission gas for Europe and the United States, it improved fuel efficiency especially under lighter workloads with the electric system controlling the engine and hydraulic devices.

It also reduced operation of the retarder by adopting newly developed "ARAC", which achieved safe and comfortable operating experiences. It was equipped with the remote vehicle managing system "KOMTRAX".

At mines especially, new technology is being introduced consistently even today. Enlarging the size by mechanical and electrical formulas, and adding the GPS control system are some of the examples.
