Komatsu Dump truck HD785-3

Ever since the Plaza agreement in 1985, the Japanese yen was going strong. Komatsu was proceeding with the special project called "X Series" with the intention of developing products that could compete in the global market. The series included bulldozers, Hydraulic excavators, Wheel loaders, and for Dump trucks the line was called "DX Series" and this HD785-3 was its first model.

It was loaded with K-ATOMiCS (Komatsu Advanced Transmission with Optimum Modulation Control System), which ensured smooth driving.

Load capacity: 78,000kg

Dump truck OPEN

The history of the dump truck as a transporting vehicle is also the history of increasing the amount of loading to improve productivity at construction sites. At mines especially, new technology is being introduced consistently even today. Enlarging the size by mechanical and electrical formulas, and adding the GPS control system are some of the examples.
