(2002)

Komatsu Skid steer loader SK714 GALEO

This skid steer loader was jointly developed with the Italian entity, "Komatsu Utility Europe".

Skid steer loaders were mainly used at small areas of stockbreeding and dairy farming in Japan, and at rough environments such as road and housing construction in the United States and Europe. Either way, high reliability and durability are required as well as good driving and operative capability. SK714 achieved a speed of 15km/h, the fastest in its class, and it also offered excellent running and operation experience by adopting the original hydraulic system and the driving lever. The visibility was much improved and the safety bar with a built-in monitor contributed to safety.

Bucket capacity: 0.38m3

Wheel loader OPEN

It was 1949 when the first wheel loader was manufactured in Japan, however, it was not until mid 1960's when Komatsu entered the wheel loader market aligning with International Harvester. From JH series in the beginning, to the 500 series, to Komatsu's original WA series, our wheel loaders have met the needs of construction sites by scaling up, coping with the environment and adopting advanced technology such as mechatronics and IT.
