The IT revolution had a tremendous influence on the technology of construction equipment as well. The satellite operation management system was developed during the 90's as a method to supervise and manage equipment from a remote distance, and became an industry standard during this era.
This was a full model change of WA450 upgrading the automobile rank of WA450. In addition to the improvement of ease of operation and productivity, "KOMTRAX", the construction equipment managing system with a satellite was installed as a part of the standard spec. Its exterior shared the same design as the new brand, GALEO.
The engine corresponded to the 2nd regulation of emission of Japan/US/Europe, and the noise level was the best in the class.
