Komatsu Rough terrain crane LW80

This model was fitted with the large 4.8 litter engine, and using two kinds of brakes (air over hydraulic/exhaustion) at the same time improved the braking system significantly. Unlike previous rough terrain cranes, driving felt more casual like a regular automobile.

To make the driving experience safer and more comfortable for female operators it was equipped with a 2-winch motor and auto hook storage device. Additionally, an upward venting air conditioner, full reclining seat, cool box, and lunch table were installed to keep an operator comfortable all day long.

Maximum rating load: 8 tons

Other Equipment OPEN

There were other construction machines built by Komatsu over the years. We can see how the various designs mirrored different eras if we look at them set against the flow of history.
