As part of a 5-year road maintenance plan, the government set a regulation on snow removal in order to secure transportation under snow with the increased budget. This gave Motor graders more important roles. To meet the demand from the Ministry of Construction, Komatsu equipped this model with the "Cummins NH220" engine to improve efficiency.

Other Equipment OPEN

There were other construction machines built by Komatsu over the years. We can see how the various designs mirrored different eras if we look at them set against the flow of history.
